Once you've set the date for your dream day, remember to set a printed materials schedule.  Mark your calendar with mailing dates for your save the date and invitations.  Save the dates may be sent from 10 to 6 months ahead of time.  Invitations may be sent from 10 to 6 weeks before the wedding.  When you meet with your stationer, be sure to share your target mailing dates to ensure that you are operating on the same timeline. You will need to account for design planning, at least one round of proofs, printing time and shipping.
