Pippin Hill Editorial by Jose Villa

We designed this lady-like shoot at one of our favorite winery wedding locations in Charlotesville, Pippin Hill and the amazing Jose Villa captured it all perfectly. For the first scene, we created a simple enviroment for getting ready portraits with our bride and her adorable flower girl.

For the tabletop design we picked a soft blue linen and used delicate eyelet placemats and scalloped gold china to create a sweet, but sophisticated table setting. A garland of roses and wild greenery mixed with fall apples and taper candles decorated the table. At each place setting, soft blue paper in the shape of a sprig of leaves served as the seating card. Wishbone chairs added a clean, more modern, element to the table. And a petite, naked cake, by Favorite Cakes decorated with fall foliage tied in with the rest of the look.
